Oak Chest of Drawers

Solid oak chest of drawers with barley twist legs.
Stripped of old varnish and waxed to seal and showcase the stained wood and enhance the warm tones. The original hardware has been refinished and dry brushed with pale gold by posh chalk pigments.
A classic solid piece with many more years of use to come.

As with all upcycled pieces there can be a sign of ware and its prior life which adds to its character. My pieces are had painted and not factory finished but sympathetically restored and refinished to a high standard. Care must be taken until the paint has fully cured approx 4 weeks. All surfaces sealed with waxes or high quality sealant. Care must be taken when cleaning and a damp cloth is sufficient for cleaning.
